Homecoming Festival
Park Board Chairman "Al" Kay has been lining up musical acts, while members of the park board are gearing up for the 2010 Homecoming Festival, Friday and Saturday, August 27th & 28th at Pevely Park #1 on Main St.  Musical acts Alter Ego on Friday and Cruzen for Saturday will entertain and delight all age groups with classic top forty music.  All different types of food, crafts, games, and carnival rides will be coming to Pevely in August.

New City Hall Sign
Designs and Signs of Crystal City has installed a new electronic message board along Main St. at the new city hall as the finishing touch to the project.  This is the final construction piece of a 20,000 square foot facility that houses city hall (administration, court, code/building enforcement, utility billing) and law enforcement (dispatch, jail facilities, offices).  The message board will display information about the city along with all important time and temperature information.  Look for another piece to be added in 2011.

CodeRed
Have you been receiving your phone calls from the Code Red Alert?  The system is running and a couple of weather warning calls have gone out as well as a message about a lost individual who was later found.  If you have not received your calls, click here and follow the directions.  If you need assistance, contact the Pevely Police Department at 475-4498 and let us help.

Intergovernmental Agreement Signed
Pevely, Herculaneum, Festus, and Crystal City mayors signed a groundbreaking agreement June 15 pledging support for each other when applying for improvement grants, federal funding, cooperative agreements, and more.  All four cities' boards and councils approved the agreement believing that what benefits one city can benefit all cities.
