Sewer Expansion In Horine
Lakeview Drive is the latest phase approved by the Board of Aldermen for expansion of a sewer force main. Fribis Engineering of Arnold drew up the plans and specifications and the city sewer department will begin work as soon as the Missouri Department of Natural Resources permits the construction and the weather allows. Crews should complete the project in 5 days after they start. 4 homes will be served by the two line system with the other homes extending their own lines to the existing force main that connects Pevely Crossing subdivision with Pevely.
Survey of Highway Z to Begin
The city will begin survey work along Highway Z from Highway 61/67 to I-55 to collect elevation, right of way, and utility information along the highway for future highway improvment. The city is performing the work "in house" with consulting services provided by Ron Pember and Associates of St. Peters, Missouri. This work will allow the city to speed along the process when funds and development are created along the road.
